Sustainability

The production and use of recycled material help our customers make their business cleaner and more responsible than before. For us, however, that is not enough. We also want to operate as sustainably as possible.

The cornerstone of our sustainability is the location of our circular economy facility in Loppi. Most of Finland’s tyres are collected for recovery within a radius of around 150 km from Loppi, which significantly reduces the transport distances of our material.

We plan all our transport carefully. We drive the largest possible loads and avoid all unnecessary transport. We direct the recycled material through our intermediate storage facilities straight to recovery, as close by as possible.

Even a recycler must recycle

In spring 2023, we became the first producer organisation in Finland to join another producer organisation as a member. We joined Sumi Oy because when we place our products on the market, we also introduce materials such as big bags used for packaging and pallets. 

Sumi Oy ensures that the packaging materials entering the market through us are circulated and reused. When you work with us, you know that all materials are recycled efficiently.
